The first coil I placed was a Target 360-18 20mm diameter by 33 cm long coil which went in without prolapsing into the ICA. I didn't need the Hyperglide to keep it out of the ICA. After that, I placed 6 more 360-18 coils down to 10mm diameter for a total of 180 cm of metal until there was pretty good stasis of contrast in the aneurysm. All the coils stayed within the original basket, with none of them prolapsing into the ICA. I decided to quit at that point hoping that I had adequately protected the aneurysm until definitive treatment. One other issue was that his ICP had been running in the 30s-40s.
