Findings: Symmetric enlargement and increased signal in the medullary olives (a). The dentate (den) nuclei of the cerebellum are normal. Internal carotid artery (ica). Torus tubarius (tt). Longus capitis m (lc) in the retropharyngeal space. Superficial head of the temporalis m (sht) and the deep head of the temporalis m (dht) attaching to the coronoid process (cor) of the mandible. Inferior head of the lateral pterygoid (ihlp) extending from the lateral pterygoid plate (lpp) to the condyle (con) of the mandible.
