Findings: Inflammation within the intraconal, retrobulbar fat of the left orbit with slight thickening of the medial (mr) rectus muscle compared to the right. The extraconal fat (ex fat) is not involved on these images. The medial aspect of the left orbital septum (sept) is slightly thickened when compared to the right. Mild left proptosis. The cavernous sinus (cav) is not involved and the lacrimal glands (lac) are symmetric. Anterior chambers (ant ch). Optic nerve (on). Basilar artery (ba). Superior ophthalmic vein (sov).
