Axial CT post-contrast

Axial CT post-contrast

Findings: Non-enhancing, anterior cervical mass (a) which compresses the trachea (tr) with a focus of high attenuation (b) compatible with calcification. The actual amount of contrast on board is questionable, note the decreasing attenuation in the common carotids (cca) and the internal jugulars (ijv) inferiorly. Normal thyroid gland (thy) with high attenuation due to iodine content. C6-7 intervertebral disk (C6-7). Lamina of C7 (lam C7). Esophagus (es). Levator scapulae m (ls). Trapezius m (tr). Splenius capitis m (sc). Sternocleidomastoid m (scm). Vertebral artery in the foramen transversarium of C7 (va).
